ISM—St. Louis, Inc. is a professional association of individuals interested in the purchasing, materials and supply chain management professions.

As an chapter of the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®), we offer opportunities for growth and enhancement of professional skills and knowledge, and encourage public understanding of supply chain management concepts through the education of leaders in the business community.

To lead and serve the supply management profession and create a highly influential and respected association within our region.

A PROUD HISTORY

ISM—St. Louis, Inc. (formerly the Purchasing Management Association of St. Louis) was founded in 1916 by two St. Louis area procurement professionals, F.W. Russe of the Mallinckrodt Chemical Company, and A. Sherwood of the Morton Salt Company.

Over 106 years later, we continue to provide leadership in supply chain management, particularly in the areas of education and standards of excellence.
